…as former PDP chieftain leads 10 loyalists on thank you visit

Former National Deputy Chairman (Southwest) of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Olabode George has declared that the storm between him and former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo was over.
He said it was with happiness and satisfaction that he is reconciling with his former boss, attributing the storm to handiwork of the devil, which to him “has been put to shame.”
George, who spoke on Sunday, when he led 10 of his loyal members on a thank you visit to Obasanjo in Abeokuta, said he had put the past behind him, “and Baba will remain my leader forever.
In a release signed by Obasanjo’s Media Aide, Kehinde Akinyemi, George was quoted as saying,
“I have come to say thank you after visiting me last week.
“Only few can do that mind you. What happened between us is devil and the devil has been shamed. It is a solid reunion and I am very happy about it,” George said.
The former military administrator of Ondo State was accompanied on the visit by Chief Okanlawon Shoboyede, Elder Wole Oyelese, Dr. Remi Akitoye, Dr. Ademola Dominic, Mr. Emmanuel Da-silva, Hon. Dare Adeleke, Capt. Tunji Shelle, Mr. Abiodun Ejamai and Mr. Adriano.
The former President had Chief Joju Fadairo, Dr. Femi Majekodunmi and Engr. Tony Ojesina and Ogun State Chairman of African Democratic Congress (ADC), Dr. Gbolade Osinowo.
The delegation later had a closed door meeting with Obasanjo.
