The Lagos state Governor, Akinwummi Ambode has been endorsed by the Itesiwaju Ipinle Eko Vanguard to carry on with his second term in office even though he hasn’t declared his interest in running. This was wrapped in an event held at the Ipakodo ferry terminal on Monday, 14th of May, 2018.
The event was well attended by several stake holders in Ikorodu. Personalities which includes Ikorodu Local Government Vice Chairman, Honorable Princess Folashade Olabanji-oba, Publisher of Oriwusun, Monzor Olowosago, Lagos house of assembly aspirant, Mr Toyin Gafar Mobolowotan, the local Government chairmen of all Ikorodu division, to mention a few.
While speaking with Trixx TV, Honorable Jimoh, the Local Government Chairman of Ijeda LCDA, he made it known that endorsing Governor Ambode for second term is a way of showing their appreciation and telling everyone that they want no one other than the Governor.
He further stated that Governor Ambode has brought about development in Ikorodu especially in his LCDA where they have been suffering from bad roads for decades and that he upgraded their health centre to a general hospital.
Similarly, the executive Vice-Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, Hon Princess Folashade Olabanjo-Oba also revealed that Governor Ambode has done well in the past three years with some road projects, Smart city Project, Mega city Project, to mention a few.
They all urged every one to get their PVCs as that is the only way to act on the endorsements
