The wood work and plank sellers under the auspice of Irewolede Planks Sellers And Wood Workers Association holds it’s first seminar today titled “Human Being and The Challenges of Life” with the theme EFFECTIVE MANAGEMENT AND UNDERSTANDING OF LIFE CHALLENGES.
The historical seminar attracts many big wigs from politics to industries, opening prayer was said by Comrade Adeyemi Azeez who happened to be the chairman of the organizing committee while the first lecture was been discussed by the popular people parliamentarian, Honorable Lanre Jaji who laud the members to engage in politics and utilize the unity within the association to secure a position at the state level so as to be a great benefits for the association.
Meanwhile, the chief executive officer of TWINEE AUTOS, Honorable Taiwo Oludotun who salute the courage of the organizer and urge the members to remember to put unity and embrace love in all their daily activities.
The former aspirant of house of Assembly, Abeokuta North also make remark on the need for the association to incorporate insurance and cooperative society in their business for future security.
The Nigeria Union Of Journalist NUJ, Ogun State chapter also graces the occasion in person of Comrade Oluwole Shokunbi who expressed satisfaction on the association and salute the courage of the organizers for deeming it fit to bring such lecture to its members, also task the association on unity and participation in politics to enhance quality representation and delivery of dividends of democracy to the members.
The association empowered five members with the sum of Ten Thousands Naira as a means of assistance on their businesses.
Several dignitaries were awarded at the seminar, among them are Honorable Lanre Jaji, Honorable Taiwo Oludotun and others in recognition of their immense contributions to the development of youths and society at large.
According to the chairman organizing committee Comrade Adeyemi Azeez Amo, The association is under the Plank Seller Association but the mother association which extend it’s wing to all roots and crannies of wood,building materials, machine operators and others, to promote unity and coexistence between the traders unlike the PSA which accommodate only the plank sellers.
Adeyemi who also assured the newsmen that their is no division between the association and the Plank Sellers Association PSA but the association is following Nigeria constitution which says “Their is freedom of association” and as such the association has come to stay and any government agencies can reckon with them with assurance of getting delivery on whatever task given to them to work on.
