QUE: LET’S MEET YOU

ANS: My name is Chief Michael Sunday Ogunsola, popularly called Tantala. I’m a broadcaster of about two decades. I am also an entertainer, a motivational speaker.

QUE: YOU’RE LAUNCHING A HELPING FOUNDATION VERY SOON, WHAT PROMPTED IT?

ANS: Yes, thank you. You see, I am not only launching the foundation alone, the three-in-one event is going to be a big event. One of my radio programmes titled “ISIN ALAJUMOSE” on Family FM (88.5) every Sundays will be two years in existence, this programme is what initiated the foundation. I started the programme like a joke, whereby listeners wins gifts on the programme. On one of the edition, I think the third edition, a pregnant woman called on the programme and narrated her problems, saying she has nothing to eat with her family. I was touched by what she said that they, I then invited her and gave her some food stuffs and also a Little’s money. Some people even called on the programme to give her gifts, during the programme, another person called and also beg for helping hands, which people turned out to. This is how helping people started. I spent more money from my pocket to help the needy, and God blesses me beyond my expectations since I started, even people also contributed to it. This is why I thought within me that there is reward in giving a helping hands.
I also want to honour some people in presenting awards to those who have been contributing to the programme in helping people. I have registered the foundation, ‘Ogunsola Sunday Tantala Foundation’ at Corporate Affairs Commission, CAC and we have the certificate. We help the less privileges, those who can not afford to pay their children’s school fees, people who are on the sick bed among others. Will also want to empower widows and give them food stuffs.

QUE: WHEN AND WHERE IS THE EVENT COMING UP?

ANS: Thursday 29th November, 2018 is the date at Edwin’s Hall, behind MKO International Stadium, Olorombo in Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital. 12:00noon is the red carpet.

QUE: HOW ABOUT THE RAFFLE DRAW?

ANS: Some of our fans gave me two plots of land, I want to give it out that day, but I don’t just want to give it to someone, this is why I initiated the raffle draw. Lots of gifts will also be won through raffle draw, such like Plasma TVs, Standing Fans, Cash Prizes among others will be won with just two thousand naira (#2,000) naira only.

QUE: LIKE HOW MANY CAN YOU NUMBER AS BENEFICIARIES?

ANS: They are uncountable. I can’t count the numbers of those who have benefited from the programme.

QUE: HAS THERE BEEN ANY CHALLENGES

ANS: Not really, though someone I knew tried to impersonate me, when I discovered, I cautioned and warned the person. I don’t want anybody to spoil my name that is why I am begging people not to use my name to dupe the general public. I have integrity.
