YOUTH NEXT IS A SCAM – OMOOBA OLUMIDE OKUEYUNGBO (NNSE) FUMES

An aspirant on the platform of Accord, and aspiring to represent the People of Ijebu North-East State Constituency at the Ogun State House of Assembly and the Ex-Coordinator of “Youth Next Ogun State Chapter” (an advocacy group for youth inclusion in politics and governance, expressed his displeasure over the advocacy group  while briefing our reporters on his views on the recently concluded supplementary elections in Osun State.

He Expressed his total dissatisfaction with the process leading to the declaration of OYETOLA of the APC as the winner in an election marred with irregularities, violence and intimidation alongside many other well meaning Nigerians. However, he was rudely shocked when an Executive of the advocacy group and also the prominent indigene of Osun State, also a member of the APC and a stooge to what he described as the “Bourdillion” establishment.

FOLAWIYO KAREEM OLAJOKU, on the social media platform described the election as “free and fair”, and also went ahead to deny knowledge of the blat out abuse of power and violence leading to the humiliation, disenfranchisement and subversion of the will of the good people of Osun State in the manner to mislead the public. In his words “in all the polling units that voting took place, no single violence took place”. The polling stations were peaceful and people voted without cohesion. OMOOBA OLUMIDE OKUEYUNGBO went further with our correspondents stating that with the likes of FOLAWIYO OLAJOKU, parading themselves as frontiers in the advancement of the cause of youth inclusion in politics and governance, the noble efforts of notable youths is in total shambles as proven by the recklessness of certain youth leaders who give no hoot about the pains and sufferings of the led, but are driven by greed and in total submission to their slave masters.

He went further to state that he remains a “member” of the group as he ceased to be the Ogun State Coordinator since he declared his intention to run, but has since remained on the side lines hoping for the reformation of the group a good number of young, noble and dynamic young men and women labored for with significant record of successes to show.

“We agreed to disrupt the existing political parties from inside. Participate in the electoral processes right from the political parties and by extension the entire polity. We are meant to be reformers, standing on fairness, equity and justice to build a sustainable future, it is looking bleak at the moment, “but I will not be deterred”, were his word.
