They had their dream wedding in Dubai, which was attended by friends and families and still remains one of the biggest celeb couples in the country but many do not know how their love story actually began. Accord to Tiwa herself, ‘I met Teebillz in Los Angeles at a Timaya concert actually and I was at that time looking for a manager and he didn’t listen to my CD I had earlier sent him unfortunately. So when I saw him, I was a bit angry, I was like I dropped my songs a few weeks ago and I am the next big thing and you are missing out…and he was like, wow, calm down, who are you? And then funny enough the next thing he said was, I am going to marry you’.

Olamide and Aisha Suleimon

Many have agreed that Olamide’s 2015 balad, ‘Melo Melo’ is one of the rapper’s best recording of all time. Perhaps this is because like many of his songs, it is a true life story. With all the street braggadicious attitude the rapper is known for, fans do not know that Olamide has a soft side when it comes to his love interest. The song was dedicated to her and all the years she supported him and was loyal to his hustle. The young couple welcomed their first child, Maximiliano in January 2015

Olu Jacob and Joke Silva

They are both legendary on screen and outside entertainment circles, they have also set relationship goals for younger colleagues and many others who see them as the ideal couple. She looked at me up and down, hissed and left. Today, she is my wife and that was 27 years ago.’

The couple met through D1’s dad who introduced them to one another and the rest as they say is history.

Omawumi and Tosin Yusuf

In an industry filled with celebrities who prefare the toga of baby mamas and baby daddies, it was easy to tag talented singer, Omawumi one after she welcomed her first daughter Kamillah. Little did we know that the ‘If you ask me’ singer and her then unknown baby daddy had more plans than what met the eyes. They have since been married and have welcomed their second child while Tosin continues to live his private life away from his wife’s stardom. In an interview, Omawumi shared how the relationship actually took the path it did. ‘We wanted to make sure that we were getting married for the right reasons. That is the best way I can explain it. We were in love before we had a child together and we were still seeing each other after I gave birth to my first child. We wanted to be sure that we were truly in love because we really did not have time to get to know each other before I got pregnant. ‘When I got pregnant, he did the manly thing by standing by me and supporting me. We did not want to get married until we were very sure that it was what we wanted. I would have felt bad if we got married because we have a child together and end up hating each other eventually. We had to be sure it would work out and I am very happy that it worked out.’
