National Open University 19 years old Undergraduate student of Entrepreneurial & Business Management, Chidima Vivian Odu has emerged winner of the beauty pageant FACE OF THE WORLD NIGERIA. The Beauty pageant which is on its second edition while Face of Edo beauty pageant celebrates 10th year anniversary was Kenly contested between Nineteen beauty girls that made it to the camp. The pageant is to promote tourism, womanhood and children Education.
Also 300 level student of Political Education Naomi Oyomole won Face of Edo while Samuvie Elohor of environmental studies and resources management 400 level, National Open University won Queen tourism Edo. Among their prizes are a trip abroad, four years full scholarship in a private university. They are to embark on their pet projects as from December 2015. The Organizers of the beauty pageant and President Face of the world beauty pageant, Prince Eerik Odigie used the occasion to thank God, sponsors and his crew members and Proposed to his fiancée Princess Deborah Odiase in the presence of the crowd and the German Juice crooner, Cynthia Morgan also gave an electrifying performance while Shun P one of the finest comedian in South South crack ribs of the audience with his magnificent performance of the night.
Miss Ekiti won Queen tourism Lagos, Miss Cross Rivers won face of delta, Most Beautiful girl in Edo State was won by Uzebu Osarosemwen Pamela representing Gombe State, Miss Photogenic and Miss Hospitality went to Miss Nasarawa and Plateau State respectively. It was indeed a beauty pageant with a different which will linger on in the heart of people of South South. The Executive Governor of Edo State, Adams Oshiomhole was represented by Chief of staff, Hon. Patrick Obahiagbon who also treated the audience with his vocabulary while commending the organizers of the Pageant to continue to strive for the best in every areas of his endeavour.
