Nigeria’s biggest TV Show, Project fame season 9,which started some weeks back has ended today with 25-year-old Okiemute being crowned as the winner and also walks home with a whooping N5million and a brand new SUV vehicle.
She couldn’t hold her tears and joy when she was announced winner, in all indications, it could be said that she didn’t expect to be named the winner because all the finalists are equally up to the task.
It was a great moment as her Mother, and family members joined her on stage to celebrate with her, they were seen jumping and jubilating around her.
In addition to her package, R n B Superstar, Praiz Adejo, who was also a finalist during Season 1 of the show but now one of the judge, promised to take the winner to an all-expense paid trip to South Africa. He made this announcement yesterday.
No doubt, the winner, Okemute, in all ways deserves to be the winner. She’s energetic, has a great voice and also made a memorable performance of her personal song by making Joke Silva, popularly known in the academy as Mama J, cry so much that she was unable to say a word when she was asked to.
Other winners include Elizabeth, First-runner up, Kitay as the second runner-up, Pere as the third runner-up, Winner and Dapo as the fifth and sixth positions respectively
