The Lagos State Police Command says no fewer than 37 suspects have been arrested within the last one month in the state metropolis for offences ranging from armed robbery, theft and cultism.

CP Adegoke Fayode who paraded the alleged suspects at the Ikeja headquarters said that the suspects were involved in different crime activities.

He noted that the operation of the police detectives helped in recovering various weapons used to perpetrate the acts.

“The quick response also assisted in the arrest of one notorious suspect Olamilekan Tajedeen,(aka Ebila) who was linked to the invasion of Iju-Ishaga with Ak47 rifle”.

The Police boss advised Nigerians to stop sharing their important information on social media so that fraudster will not have access to these details.

He also asked them to stop engaging domestic staff without full documents of their details.

“With the commitment of the Lagos State Police officers, I’m ensuring the residents of their safety”, he added”.

He noted that the command is yet to receive the much awaited toxicology report that was conducted on the popular singer, Ilerioluwa Alboa also known as MohBad, three months after the singer’s death.

The CP blamed the delay on the destruction of a state-of-the art laboratory that was built by the state government during the EndSARS protest.
