Newly elected Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, lawmaker to represent Egor/Ikpoba Okha federal House of Representatives, Hon Jude Ise-Idehen, yesterday, asked Ehiozuwa Johnson Agbonayinma to go to court if not cleared that he lost to him in the just concluded elections rather than attacking his person.
He disclosed this shortly after a thanksgiving service at the St George’s Catholic Church, Oregbeni in Benin City, Edo State.
Ise-Idehen said the just concluded national election has been adjudged as one of the freest elections in the annal of the nation’s political history adding that it was crystal clear that he won the election and that Ehiozuwa Johnson Agbonayinma lost the election to him.
“This is the freest election since 1999. All the security agencies, INEC, have all said that. If my opponent is not satisfied he knows what to do instead of resorting to attacks”.
“I feel wonderful and relieved, I thank God for this day and the leaders of my party for believing in me.
I thank the people of Ikpoba Okha/Egor that voted for me and supporting the PDP.
While calling on the people of the state to vote PDP candidates in the forthcoming state house of assembly elections, assured that the PDP will not disappoint the people for the trust and confidence they have shown in the Presidential and national assembly elections in the state.
“We won Edo South for Senate, Presidency and house of Representatives. I appeal to our people to come again to support our candidates”. He added
