Young African entrepreneurs stand a chance of winning a total cash prize of $60,000 for business funding as a new TV series, HAJEM Becoming is set to debut.
A statement from the organizers of the TV show made available to the press, indicates that other prizes to be won include a whopping $1million available in collateralized venture capital funding.
The funding offers include $20,000 training facilitation and funding by Capital Luxury; $15,000 in training and grant facilitation by Boundless Pay; venture capital funding by The Global Wealth Forum; implementation of business health toolkit and business support for the top 3 pitch deck winners (3 months) by The SME Mall.
Other prizes include discounted insurance covers for winners by Padimi Insurance; Meflyn Anwana Story Prize Award of $10,000 grant (including N600,000 in business funding, mentoring and networking);and $15,000 Virtual Talent Showcase – Becoming Hood Talent.
According to the press statement, innumerable opportunities abound for over 100,000 African Entrepreneurs who will participate in the show, which will be hosted in Nigeria, Ghana and Rwanda.
In addition, the HAJEM Becoming Pitch series will provide a platform for indigenous entrepreneurs to pitch their business ideas to investors and Venture Capitalists, standing a chance to win prizes ranging from funding and grants to loans and training opportunities.
“Our show revolves around practical hands-on sessions driven by experienced business leaders while incorporating prize money to assist successful businesses with their funding requirements.
“We aim to provide funding/capital raise
opportunities and business linkages for entrepreneurs focusing on solving extant challenges leveraging homegrown solutions,” the statement reads.
The organizers further reveal that the novel TV series will be a platform for policy dialogue on good governance, leadership and social impact engineering, as well as promoting entrepreneurship andmarketing innovation.

The statement further indicates that the deadline for available offers closes September 30, 2023.
