Sahara Weekly Reports That Prophet Joshua Iginla, the leader of Champions Royal Assembly, opened up about his real identity during a recent interview on his official YouTube channel. He shared that his birth name is not “Joshua Iginla,” but rather “Abdukari Lasisi Iginla.” He also explained the reasons behind his decision to change his name.
Prophet Iginla revealed in the video (at the 35:08 mark): “Behind every public success, there’s a personal journey. I was born into a Muslim family, and my original name is Abdukari Lasisi Iginla. When I transitioned from Islam to Christianity, I faced hardships, including disapproval and rejection from my father. I endured being ostracized from my family home for three and a half years due to my newfound faith.
These struggles were part of my transformation. Upon encountering Jesus Christ, I chose to adopt the name Joshua Iginla. This decision symbolized a fresh start and a departure from my past.”
In his heartfelt revelation, Prophet Iginla sheds light on the personal challenges he underwent as he transitioned from one faith to another and the significance of embracing a new name as a representation of his spiritual journey.
