Nollywood actress Funke Etti who is presently a Tv Presenter at LTV8 In a talk show ‘ Arakenge Pelu Funke Etti, has debunked the allegation of bleaching skin. Her fans have been accusing her of bleaching skin and advising women to bleach their skin, in order to save her head from this accusation, the actress denied bleaching but admitted to skin tone.
Funke explained ‘I don’t bleach, and it’s not true I said using bleaching cream is good and advisable for women. When I don’t use it, why will I be advising others to be using it? I even detest it totally. I only tone once in a while which is common among women. It allows your beauty to come out better. That’s all I said.’
She went on to say “There was no where I said bleaching is good for women. I think some rumour mongers are out there just to cause disaffection between myself and some women. I never said that and I am also not bleaching.”
As lot of her colleagues are now into music and other businesses, the actress who is not a lazy being, also think of what to do without stepping out of entertainment, so she come up with an idea of presenting a Tv show . She is now presenting a talk show on the big screen.
She said “I am now a TV presenter. I have a talk show presently aired on LTV8. It’s called Arakenge Pelu Funke Etti. It’s not a live programme. We have recorded many episodes since we started, but it just showing on LTV 8 in April this year. Very soon, few other stations will join. It’s a kind of programme where we bring in celebrities to talk on issues revolving around their lives and careers. And we have featured a lot of entertainment stars and media personalities, including Pasuma, Antar Laniyan, Iyabo Ojo, Kelvin Ikeduba, Alhaji Wasiu Kayode Sodiq, amongst others.”
she further say, “I just thought I should also start something side by side acting. A lot of my colleagues are now into music and all that. So, going into a talk show is something I think has also not in any way run contrary to entertainment. And since I started, I have received a lot of commendations from the public. I thank God for that.”
