Adesina greets Muslim faithful, preaches peace and unity

The House of Representives candidate in the past election under the platform of Social Democratic Party ( SDP) Honourable Ayo Adesina has felicitated with Muslims on the celebration of the 2019 Eid-el-Kabir.
Honourable Ayo Adesina in his Eid-el-kabir message enjoined all Muslim faithfuls in Ogun State and Nigerians in general to show each others love and unity.
Adesina urged Muslim faithfuls to uphold their obedience to Allah in the spirit of forgiveness for one another. Adesina described Islam as a religion that upholds the spirit of love, peace and charity and preach harmonious living relationship with other religions adherents.
He commended the Muslim community in Abeokuta South for supporting him during the election and for being good citizens. The House of Reps candudate urged Muslims to expand the spiritual benefits of Sallah by ensuring and promoting peaceful co-existence with each other and people of other faiths and shun violence and religious conflicts in whatever form they may manifest.
Adesina enjoined Muslims to pray for and conduct themselves peacefully before during and after the sallah. He advised the faithful to imbibe the spirit of sacrifice which Prophets Ibrahim and his son, Ismaeel, exemplified, an occasion which is being commemorated yearly, thousands of years since. According to him: “Let me congratulate all Muslim on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el- Kabir Festival. “I want you to use the occasion of the festival to demonstrate that the world is united by our common humanity. “
