Ahead Edo 2024: Don’t use Asiwaju Name to Lie, APC stalwarts allegedly warns Oshiomole
The crisis presently rocking the forthcoming APC gubernatorial primary election in Edo state schedule for the 17th of February 2024 is far from been over. Over thirty contestants has indicated interest in contesting the election but last week a committee was set up to Prone the names of the contestants.
A lot of Misleading news has filled the internet and gossips on the street, which has it that the committee headed by Prof. Julius Ihonvbere had screen the contestants and only 6 were selected, which APC has also denied.
To the surprise of most leaders, a meeting was called and most party stalwarts from the 18 local government were summoned to Abuja on Monday. The meeting was called by Senator Adams Oshiomole and it was alleged that they were mandated to ensure the victory of Dennis Idahosa at the Primary.
According to some of the party stalwarts that attended the meeting but pleaded anonymity said they were told by Oshiomole that, Denis Idahosa is the anointed candidate of President Tinubu and the president wants them to ensure Idahosa is eventually elected the party flag bearer for the September 21 gubernatorial election.
The party stalwarts were surprised that the President who immediately suspended Beta Edu minister Humanitarian of affairs, over corruption issues will not rally round an alleged fraudster that was suspended by Oshiomole when he was Governor of Edo state.
So the Party stalwarts are now advising Oshiomole not to use the President name to canvass vote for his preferred candidate and they don’t want imposition so that APC will not remain Opposition in Edo state.
To most of Edolites, remarked that the Name Dennis Idahosa is synonymous to scandal. The politician currently representing Ovia South/West-Ovia North/East Federal Constituency was booted out of office as commissioner for investment under the former Governor Adams Oshiomole over fraud allegations.
Prior to that, the youths, political stalwarts and Edo in diaspora are fighting tooth and nail to make sure Idahosa’s dreaming of becoming the number citizen of Edo did not come to past.
Idahosa according to information remain unfit and has no place in governance in Edo state.
Dennis Idahosa will never be able to hold the office of governor of Edo State, and there are several reasons for this. He is involved in numerous illegal operations, the most of which have caused suffering to the decent and innocent citizens of Edo State who have up until now trusted him without realizing that he is a chameleon.
It is also unexpected and depressing that Senator Adams Oshiomole, who called Dennis Idahosa a criminal when serving as governor of Edo, would be the one promoting him for governor of the state.
To most of Edolites, the name Dennis Idahosa connotes nothing but fraud. He is such a man that portrays highest level of criminalities and illegalities coupled with the fact that accusing fingers are pointed in him for having a HK for internet fraudster( Yahoo Yahoo) strategically positioned in the GRA area of Benin City.
being involved in fraudulent activities during the reign of Oshiomole, Idahosa has also been accused severely from different quarters. He has swindled innocent businessmen and women, most especially those based in the Diaspora huge sums of their hard earned money and defected from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the then ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for his shameful and criminal act to be covered up. That was when he perpetrated the nefarious ‘419’ act. This attested to the fact that Dennis Idahosa is a man who criminally knows how to maneuver his ways after been enmeshed in crimes of severe status. It will however, seen ridiculous that the good, responsible people of Edo State would stoop so low or be that forgetful to cast their votes for him. He is rumoured to want the APC Gubernatorial ticket, to cover up his traits and also for immunity.
It is also surprising and disheartening that Senator Adams Oshiomole who, during his tenure as Edo governor labelled Dennis Idahosa a criminal would now be the one canvassing for votes for him as the state’s governor. The people are wondering if Oshiomole is under a spell. This is unpalatable and totally unacceptable by all Edolites. So, in conclusion, there is no reason for Edo people to vote for a criminal, an ardent and unrepentant fraudster, a harbinger of fraudster and a leader of illegal cabals all working round the clock for his political survival. The fast approaching Edo State election would surely judge that Karma, is surely around the corner for the dishonourable Dennis Idahosa.
