AIG Iliyasu psc incepts 40 feet container worth millions of Naira at Tin can island port

Operatives of the Puff Adder Zone 2 Command foiled an economic sabotage attempt by tracking down a 40 feet container truck of contraband items includes foreign rice and chemicals worth millions of Naira.

The Container truck was tracked and intercepted while the culprits jumped out of the truck and abandoned the contraband goods to an unknown destination.

DSP Hauwa Idris Adamu,the public relations officer zone 2 Command headquarter,Onikan confirm this through press statement that the container has been imported into the country through Tin Can Island port in contravention to the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

According to her,the location of the intercepted container truck was at Apapa, the Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of Zone 2 Command, AIG Ahmed Iliyasu psc commends the operation.

AIG, commitment is to uphold Operation Puff Adder to able the zone to flush out criminal activities in Lagos and Ogun States .
