Ajala clinches Odi olowo ticket

Efforts by the duo of Muiz Banire and Hon. Tejuosho to scuttle the election at Odi olowo  in Mushin fell like a pack of cards yesterday when the All Progressive Congress APC successfully organized a free and fair primary in the area.

This is coming on the heels of the recently amended law by the Lagos State House of Assembly which gives  room for  more participation and flexibility for political parties and LASIEC, the law as amended  allows parties up to three day before election to submit candidates to LASIEC. The law was recently signed by Governor Akinwumi Ambode.

Banire and his lover and political  Tejuosho through deception had approached Lagos High Court to secure an injunction nullifying the primary earlier conducted at Odi olowo throwing the constituency into a state of lacuna.

But with the this primary now successfully conducted, the coast is clear for Hon. Rasaki Ajala who pooled 169 votes to beat other contestants to the ticket.

Banire has been working against the party that made him commissioner with different administrations and eventually the National Legal Adviser, now forcing his constituency to initiate his expulsion from the party.
