Alhaji Owoeye denies invasion of Obafemi—Owode LG, Pleads to Gov. Abiodun, Police to arrest people terrorising Kara village

The popular land developer and estate mogul, Alhahi Chief Mutairu Owoeye has debunked the attack on residents of Kara village in Obafemi—Owode local government area of Ogun state today 9th of June, 2023.

 

 

 

It could be recalled that a video surfaced the internet where some women were seen crying and claiming that “Alhaji Mutairu Owoeye” and his boys invaded their village whereby killing three people and rendered many homeless.

 

 

 

Our correspondent when we visited Alhaji Chief Mutairu Owoeye for his reaction to the allegations of invading Kara village in Obafemi—Owode local government area of Ofun state, He denied the allegation enterily, saying none of his boys was in the area where the incident happened recently.

 

 

 

 

Also, he pleaded with the executive Governor of Ogun state under the administration of Prince Dapo Abiodun to swing to action by directing the security agencies to the area of incidence to ensure the perpetrators of the evil is arrested and prosecuted in no time.

While commiserating with the family of the deceased, Alhaji Chief Mutairu Owoeye assured the residents of the village of giving the state government necessary assistance in ensuring the person(s) that unleash terror in Kara, Obafemi—Owode area of Ogun state are arrested and prosecuted.

“I commiserate with family of the deceased in the Kara, Obafemi—Owode local government attack, the news came as a rude shock and at the same time disappointing that people can accused me of unleashing terror on the people of Kara village whereby killing people.”

“I hereby clarify that neither my boys nor myself appeared in the above mentioned area not to talk of unleashing terror on the residents of Kara Village, As a law abiding citizen of the federal republic of Nigeria, I shall in public interest protect the people from being attacked unnecessarily.” Said Alhaji Chief Mutairu Owoeye.

However, he urge the Nigeria Police Force NPF, to technically investigate the matter and arrest the perpetrators of evil in Kara village and bring them to book in no time because nobody is above the law
