APOSTLE SULEMAN THANKS SUPPORTERS, REFUTES STATEMENT ON EL-RUFAI
Firebrand founder and president of Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has thanked members of the public for standing by the truth while his matter with the Department of State Security (DSS) lasted.
Apostle Suleman on Monday, 30th January 2017, honoured the DSS invitation to clarify his alleged inciting statements during a church service two Sundays ago. The meeting was described as ‘successful’ and the DSS ‘professional’.
A statement signed and made available by Barrister Samuel Amune, coordinator, OFM legal team, reads;
“This is to formally inform the general public, and lovers of Apostle Johnson Suleman in particular, that the DSS invitation was honoured by him and the encounter can be better described as successful as the DSS was professional. This would herald a new phase for the Christians in Nigeria.
However, we wish to use this medium to officially discredit the sources, disassociate us from, and refute the news which has gone viral and credited to Apostle Johnson Suleman that Governor El-Rufai of Kaduna State should produce the Fulani herdsmen he claimed he paid money to stop killing Christians.
Apostle Suleman did not and could not have said that.
What we do know is that the battles confronting the Christians in Nigeria is spiritual and not a battle of words and wits.”
