Senior Pastor at the Omega Fire Ministries (OFM) worldwide, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has said that the new governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Duoye Diri, is God’s anointed for the state.
Suleman, who with his team, is in the Southsouth state on an Apostolic mission, made a courtesy call on the governor in his office in Yenagoa, the state capital, as protocol demands.
During the meeting, the famous cleric prayed for Governor Diri’s administration for a successful tenure as well as encouraging the PDP team to make their priority the welfare of Bayelsa and Bayelsans at home and abroad.
”Please, make the welfare of Bayelsans paramount in your programmes and policies. You shall succeed because God anointed you. Your emergence as governor is divine,” Apostle Suleman said, stating that he would continue to join the state government in prayer for a successful term.
It is recalled, the Supreme court awarded Duoye Diri of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) the mandate on February 13, 2020, after invalidating the initial the ticket given to Mr. David Lyon of the All Progressives Congress (APC) due to alleged certificate forgery against his running mate.
The ‘Oracle of God’ as Suleman is fondly addressed, later moved on for the programme.
