The association of local government vice chairmen in Nigeria
led by Honorable Lawrence Onuchukwu, in a bid to appreciate personalities and
individuals that have contributed immensely to the growth of the nation in one
way or the other organized a world class award ceremony and gala night.
The event which took place at the prestigious Sheraton hotel, Abuja on Wednesday, 6th of November, 2019, had several dignitaries In attendance among which includes Minister of Interior, His Excellency, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, Senator Solomon Adeola Yayi , Honorable Bola Ilori, Hon Jide Obanikoro, Speaker, House of Reps, RT Hon Femi Gbajabiamila, who was ably represented, Chief Mrs. Folashade Tinubu , who was the mother of the day, Sen. According to the Vice chairman of the association, Hon. Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba, the association decided to honor the distinguished personalities because of their immeasurable acts that have pushed the nation forward. She also stated that it is to encourage them and others to do more for the country.
