ATM Card swapping specialist arrested in River State By Ifeoma Ikem

Operatives of the River State Police Command nabs one Promise Dogoh, a 23-years-old native of Kamnor community in Khana Local Government Area of Rivers State.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The suspect specialized in swapping ATM Cards, belonging to individuals at several ATM points in Rivers State and subsequently stole money from their accounts.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Nemesis caught up with him on 22/04/22 at ATM gallery in Artillery, when he successfully swapped the ATM card of a victim and withdraws the sum of N 640,000, leaving the victim with nothing in his account.

Acting. Police Public Relations Officer confirmed that the frustrated victim reported the matter to State Command Operatives who swung into action and arrested the culprit. He is currently helping the Police in the investigation,he will be charged to court immediately after the investigation.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Commissioner of Police, CP Eboka Friday, admonishes the good people of Rivers State to be wary of strangers at ATM galleries and desist from seeking assistance from them.
They should rather approach staffs of the banks who can easily be identified should anything go wrong.
