Avengers Blow Up Forcados Pipeline

The Niger Delta Avengers, NDA, on Wednesday announced that it has blown up another Trans Forcados Export Pipeline in the creeks of Warri South West Council Area of Delta State.

The attack occurred 10:45pm on Tuesday night.

Avengers spokesman, Mudoch Agbinibo, confirmed the attack via its Twitter handle.

He said the attack was to warn oil companies in the Niger Delta region against carrying out repair works on any damaged line.

The tweets read, “Today at 10:45pm our elite strike team (strike team 6) has blown up the Forcados Export Pipeline. This action is to further stress that we don’t appreciate the repairs of blown pipelines.”

Recall that Operations Delta Safe around Batan community repelled them from carrying out a similar attack on another pipeline that fields the Forcados Export Terminal operated by Shell/ Nigerian Petroleum Development Company (NPDC) with crude on Tuesday.
