The Atiku Youth Alliance Movement (AYAM) has commended former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar for his readiness to empower the Nigerian youths through massive creation of employment opportunities.
Rising from its monthly national Congress held in Abeokuta the Ogun State capital, the group commended the giant step taken by the Turakin Adamawa for dumping the All Progressives Congress (APC) for PDP, describing the move as healthy for Nigeria’s democracy.
Speaking at the Congress, the National Coordinator, Comrade Mohammed Garba emphasized that, Atiku’s defection to the PDP has further enliven the hope of Nigerian youth for a better representation in the political system of the country.
Comrade Garba reiterated that, Atiku Abubakar remain the only credible candidate who could challenge President Muhammadu Buhari during the 2019 presidential election.
He stressed that, the Nigerian youths would solidly rally behind the former Vice-President, urging the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP to ensure Atiku emergence as the party’s presidential flag bearer during the forthcoming primaries slated for 2018.
Comrade Garba stated that, the group is supporting Alhaji Atiku for his credentials as a business owner with a long history of creating jobs, not just in his home state of Adamawa, but elsewhere across the country.
Garba however, enjoined the Turakin Adamawa to pick a charismatic and intelligent youth as his running mate to further capture the minds of all Nigerian youths.
He therefore, implored all youth groups in the country to support the aspiration of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar for a better technology-driven and economy advancement society.
