Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Monday Ubani, Prince Olumide Akindiya and Others to Be Honoured at Lagos-Ikeja City Award 2018

This year upcoming 13th anniversary of Lagos-Ikeja City Award will be honoring and recognizing the most deserved personalities, royal fathers, public holders, corporate bodies, etc within the entire communities.

According to the organizing committee, top events are already lined up for the day which will be held at the Presken Hotels & Resorts Limited situated at No. 17 Alade Avenue, off Awolowo Way, Ikeja, Lagos State. Dignitaries billed for the event are Chief Host Governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode, Chairman of Presken Hotels & Resorts Ltd., Mr Momoh Kadi as Special Guest of Honour, Guest Speaker of the day is Barr. Monday Ubani, Mr David Omolayo Oladugbagbe, the Chairman of Four Gates Hotels and Resorts, Special Guest of Honour, Mr. Babajide Sanwoolu, HON. Richard Adedamola Kasimu (Ark), Prince Olumide Akindiya, Royal father of the day is OBA Rilwanu Oluwalambe Taiwo.

The important and crucial highlights of the event will be the topic of discussion. Themed: “THE ROLE OF GOOD GOVERNANCE IN SUSTANING THE DEVELOPMENT OF GRASSROOTS”. With this theme, the organisers’ target is to further foster the mutual and cordial relationship of good governance and that of the residents and indigenes of the state, most importantly those who abide in the grassroots. the organizing committee also realise the passion and knack of the ebullient Chairman of Ikeja Local Government Area, Honourable Majeed Balogun who is also an ardent grassroots personality.

These personalities are hereby honoured alongside others such as Prince Olumide Akindiya, celebrated lawyer and principal of Olumide Akindiya & Co. Legal Practitioners & Notaries Public, the Executive Chairmen of Local Government Area, Corporate Bodies, Celebrities and individuals that cut across other works of life that will be honoured, albeit deservingly. This will go in no small measures to appreciate their efforts towards erectly alleviating poverty, creating job opportunities to people, impacting lives and so on in Ikeja Locally Government Area and its environs.

While interviewing Prince Olumide Akindiya via telephone conversation, he assured us that he would grace the occasion, particularly to listen to Ubani’s speech in which he holds in high esteem. He acknowledged that it would be triple award this year from our observation.
