‘A leopard does not change its spots’. So, the wise ones say. Incidentally, this poignant statement holds true when it comes to the political antics of who else but Muiz Banire. When you think you have had enough of his mischief he springs another one, more like a spoilt brat.
Or, how else do we explain the statement credited to Olawale Ajomale? When he posited that the injunction given by Justice Okuwobi of Ikeja Division, by nullifying the Odi-Olowo LCDA election was obtained by sheer deception people did not take him seriously.
But now, with the recent revelation that Okuwobi is a former Personal Assistant to Honourable Funmilayo Tejuosho, the Chairman House Committee on Judiciary, Lagos State House of Assembly,who is the closest political ally of Banire it is patently obvious in the court of public opinion that Ajomale has spoken the truth.
So, it is over to Banire and Tejuosho to get ready to answer for their anti-party activities. Lest we forget, Tejuosho proved to be the desperate, power-hungry law maker who wanted to become the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, more by crook than by hook. Expectedly, she failed!
But again, as the wise ones insist there is always a day of reckoning to answer for our misdeeds.
