Pastor David Abayomi Ogundipe has cried out to the inspector general of police Mr Mohammed Abubakar Adamu to come to his aid as the petition the former inspector general of police has approved for investigation at Alagbon police is being blocked by a retired commissioner of police and serving deputy inspector general of police.
According to the pastor Ogundipe,he said in 2015 he was appointed as the chairman land and development committee of Odonsenlu community,in Odogbolu local government area of Ogun State adding that the function of the committee is to harness the potentials of the community and also bring investors to the community.
In August 2014, Oba Alaiyeluwa Y.O Adekoya Agbonmagbe 11 Dagburewe of idowa, Idowa Ogun State, appointed Ahlaji Kabir Badejo Adebanjo Adegunwa Ogbodo as Otunba of Odonsenlu community in Odogbolu local government of Ogun State.
“He was appointed as Otunba a position less than that of Baale and he has been parading himself as a first class king wearing the regalia of a king and installing Baale which I cautioned him about. “Because of my opposition to himself acclaimed king he infiltrated the committee that I chaired with Ahlaji Lai Onikosi and Salabiu Omotosho to disrupt the activities of the committee.
“Both Ahlaji Lai Onikosi and Salabiu Omotosho warned me to stop opposing Otunba Kabir Badejo Adegunwa Ogbodo as king otherwise only one bullet is enough to silence me which made me to petition the inspector general of police in December 2018 and was approved for admin section at Alagbon and ever since then the retired CP and a serving deputy inspector general of police have been blocking the investigation so I want the inspector general of police to wade into this matter because as I am no longer safe with my family”. Ogundipe pleads.
