Bishop of Lagos urged Nigerians to accept Jesus as their saviour

Nigerian has been urged to embrace God and allow Jesus to take over their affairs of lives in order to enjoy peace and prosperity in the rest days of their lives.

The advice was given on Christmas day by the Rt. Revd Dr Humphrey Bamisebi Olumakaiye during Christmas service held at the Cathedral church of Christ Lagos.

The Reverend father in his message titled: Emmanuel meaning God with us enjoined Nigerians to celebrate the Christmas by ensure true love and reconciliation .

He urged Nigerians and Christians not to frustrate the grace of God but always pray that God grace will not be in vain in their lives.

According to him God come to the world in the person of our Lord Jesus Christ. He was born in a time when wickedness was all over the place but in the midst of hopelessness the message came “Emmanuel “.

He added, that when the grace of God begin to express itself in the heart of man,light begin to shine there will be no darkness.

He noted that God is planning a better future for true Christian then urge everyone to give their lives to Christ so that they will be save and be ready for second coming of the son of God.

Quoting genesis chapter 1 and verse 1 which say in the beginning God created the heavens and earth therefore means that God is with us and everybody should allow this to rule his or her mind. “No matter what is happening in our country God is with us.

He explained that technology and every other things can fail but God will never change. “Let us make up our mind and build a very solid relationship with God “he said .

He further urged members to be solid in their service to God that the church will give every support to them to be steadfast in the Lord .

He encourage Christians to always read and study the word of God by marking it and digest it, also put enough trust in God as the Alpha and omega the only man that make impossible to become possible.
