The governorship ambition of the Ogun State All Progressives Congress candidate, Prince Dapo Abiodun receives another significant boost as another first class Oba and a close ally of Governor Amosun, Oba AbdulFatai Akamo, the Olu of Itori vow to vote Buhari, Dapo and all other APC candidates in the forthcoming general election.

The royal father who also doubled as the State Chairman for the Progressive Obas forum in Ogun State stated this while playing host to the entourage of the APC governorship candidate, Prince Dapo Abiodun in his palace at Itori, Ewekoro Local government.

He said, ‘I want to appreciate God for His mercy and remind us that we have never had it so good in Ogun State until APC came to power and we pray that the party will continue to prosper. We the Progressive Obas believe in good governance and we firmly believe that only APC can offer such. You have a very vibrant and formidable team and i wish you all the best in your aspiration.

He further stated that, ‘In this coming election, we shall support Buhari, yourself(Dapo) and all other APC candidates. Some people call Buhari baba go slow but he could give us new railway, fight corruption, pay Nigeria Airways pensions and start the construction of a cargo airport in Wasinmi here.

The royal father then pleaded with the appropriate authorities to ensure that the forthcoming general election is peaceful, free and fair.

Earlier, the frontline governorship candidate of APC while addressing the traditional council which comprises of other royal fathers, Baales, market women, artisan and the executives of the community development council of the local government, assured them of good governance when he becomes the governor of the State.

According to him, ‘I want to humbly inform you my fathers that I am in this race to take the state into the greater heights. This campaign tour has given us the opportunity to assess this local government and identify their major challenges which ranges from lack of rural roads; modern markets; electricity and jobs for our youth.

As someone from private sector background, Iunderstand the essence of investment in a locality and i want to assure you that all the investors that have been chased away will return to this local government and Ogun State at large when i become the governor. Hence, i urge you to support us from the Federal government down to the State. Buhari is in APC and it will do us great favour to synergies with the FG by ensuring that we also vote for APC at the State.

The entrepreneur and business tycoon had earlier visited other areas of the local government from Obada, Awowo, elere, abalabi, papalanto, arigbajo down to itori for his ward to ward campaign tour of the local government to propagate his plans and policies to the electorates.
