CAPACITY BUILDING AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT TRAINING PROGRAMME FOR SELECTED STUDENT UNION LEADERS IN NIGERIA TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS ACROSS NORTH CENTRAL.
MAKURDI BENUE STATE 2024.
In our ongoing efforts to enhance the leadership capacity of Student Union leaders, my office has facilitated a capacity-building and leadership development training program for selected Student Union leaders from Nigerian tertiary institutions.
This event has started from yesterday, 12th to 14th August 2024.
I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the selected participants, as well as to the Supervisory Agency, the National Productivity Centre (NPC), for organizing this impactful training.
The administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, remains steadfast in its commitment to prioritizing education and youth development.
It is important to note that maintaining an uninterrupted academic calendar is achievable, despite the significant investment and attention given to education reform when student leaders choose to embrace dialogue.
I am pleased with the content and organization of this program and look forward to Zones.
We will keep Engaging with our student leaders at all levels to make Nigeria a better place for all.
In conclusion, our capacity building and leadership development training program in Makurdi, Benue State, was a resounding success. The Governor of the state, in a remarkable gesture, directed his Private Secretary and Principal Assistant on Student and Youth Affairs to confer upon me the highest honor in the land.
On behalf of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, I extend my sincere gratitude to the government and people of Benue State for hosting our inaugural capacity-building program. I also express my heartfelt appreciation to all student leaders from Benue State and those who traveled from other states to attend the program.
Together, we can make Nigeria a better place under the visionary leadership of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
