It’s another Bomb shell again as Abuja based Prophet and General Overseer of Champions Royal Assembly, Joshua Iginla has proven himself once again to be truly called from God as One of his topical 2016 Prophecies came to pass last week.

During the Cross-Over night service held at the Abuja headquarters of his church on December 31st, 2015, as usual, he made some prophecies ahead of the new year to prepare the world for what they are likely to see in the new year and no doubt, a lot of it has come to pass.

Similarly, checks by Sahara Weekly revealed that he also predicted the outcome of the Edo 2016 Governorship election, which was just concluded some days back with APC’S Obaseki as the winner, even though it was a tough time.

According to the Prophet during the service , ‘’  I see the ruling party in Edo still retaining power. I see a strong contest but the ruling party will swallow the opponent’’ and truly, it was as he said it. It would be recalled that during the election, a lot of crisis was recorded and the opponent which was PDP wasn’t losing out too but at the end of the day, APC took the glory, to confirm the Prophet’s word.

In addition to this, flashbacks revealed that Prophet Joshua Iginla also predicted the outcome of  Zambia’s election which came to pass, Rivers state Election, Fuel hike in Nigeria, Re-surface of Ebola to Liberia, Biafra Agitation,  to mention a few.

MTN in deep crisis as it sacks hundreds without Benefits

    mtn-nigeria-office-e1445855772538

Telecommunications Company, MTN, on Friday fired hundreds of staff in its Nigeria offices without severance pay, several affected staff have explained.

The staff said they were not properly about their dismissal and that the company failed to respect their contractual agreements.

They said MTN had informed them of a plan to outsource staff, but since it was not the first time that would happen, they took the information casually.

“In 2012 they outsourced us to a company called DNSSL. Now what we have heard is that MTN is taking us away from DNSSL to an Indian company, ICON,” said one staff, who has worked with the company for over five years.

He said they were told by MTN about two weeks ago that the contracts would terminate at the end of September. With no further information, the staff thought they would return to MTN.

“But on reaching here today, they placed security all over the place, numbering up to 50 private security operatives,” he said.

He said while a company could hire and fire, employees also should be fairly remunerated.

“For five years since I have been with them, salaries have not been reviewed. We work on public holidays, yet there were no plans for any overtime payments. We operate an invoice system, which allows payments within intervals of a month, starting from the 15th of every month.

“As we speak nobody is talking about our salaries for the last 15 days we have worked. A lot of us have outstanding leave days that should be monetized but no one is talking about that. Even when they pay the salaries; a lot of us are usually sub-paid, meaning that our salaries are deducted without explanations,” he told PREMIUM TIMES.

Another affected worker told PREMIUM TIMES that he had just finished a night shift and stepped out to get some money from an Automated Teller Machines, ATM, when he observed the strange development.

“They searched me like a common criminal. Both when I was going out and when I was returning inside. They did not even allow me inside,” he said. “I kept asking what was happening because I did not understand.”

Another affected staff said he had worked with the MTN group of companies for eight years, but was suddenly locked out of office on Friday, without explanations from his employers.

“They refused even to let us inside the compound. They only asked that a security operative address us. They said they have outsourced us, but a careful study of the process shows that MTN is still the owners of the company. For example, after outsourcing us to DNSSL, in 2012, MTN still maintained full control of the company and we are sure they are the ones outsourcing us again.

“They are moving their call centre away from Lagos which means we have practically been sacked. And there are at least 4000 of us, if not more, because we are spread across Nigeria,” he said.

The staff requested their identities be protected as the matter was still fluid.

One staff, who was sacked much earlier, said he was fortunate to be employed by the new company.

“Yes it is true. There are many of us. Although I am now working with ICON but when I was laid off by MTN, no entitlement followed,” he told PREMIUM TIMES.

When contacted, the spokesperson for MTN, Funso Aina, promised to send a statement on the incident. He did not revert for more than 24 hours, and did not respond to further calls and text messages.

INDEPENDENCE :”We have more reasons and gains to live together in peace” – UPN tells Nigerians

    38e4d00a-00dd-4c14-8621-630966861424-300x158

The Ogun state chairman of the Unity Party of Nigeria (UPN) Hon. Iredee Oginni took records of Nigeria’s chequered economic and Socio-political history since independence and submitted that in spite of the bottlenecks, the nation is should hope for the very best.

To achieve greatness however, Oginni canvassed for policy consistency saying that development in the country has been largely encumbered by inconsistencies in policy formulation and implementation.

In her good will message to the nation on her 56th Independence Anniversary, Oginni also urged for love and unity of purpose among Nigerians irrespective of religious, political and ethnic affiliations, adding that such is the only way the nation can realize its full potentials with  all the abundant human and natural resources.

Oginni appealed to those behind the current wave of insurgencies and militancy to have a rethink “because there is no other country they can call theirs if they destroy Nigeria. Whatever grievances or misgivings, resorting  to violence is not an option because  we have various organs or channels established to seek redress .

Lamenting the negative consequences of the security challenges in the country, Oginni said, “We have more reasons and gains to live together in peace than otherwise. No nation achieves greatness by incessant violence and infighting. We are not only wasting the lives of our compatriots but also destroying our commonwealth as a nation, because we are  deploying our scarce national resources in fighting insurgents and militants instead of on developmental projects.

“Indeed, this is not the way to go. We have had enough of violence and bloodletting. It is time for us all to renew our bond of brotherhood and live harmoniously. We must all accept the challenge to chart a new course and make Nigeria a better place. Happily, democracy, which we all accept as the best form of government, offers opportunities for everyone to realize his or her potential because it is participatory and representative”,

Finally, Oginni called on Nigerians to continue to pray for the nation and remain optimistic that Nigeria would come out of its challenges a united, stronger and more prosperous nation.

She wishes Nigerians a happy fruitful and promising Independence Anniversary.

‘I’ll not talk about the release of Chibok girls again’ – President Buhari

    buha

The government of Muhammadu Buhari has declared it won’t talk about the Chibok girls kidnapped by Boko Haram terrorists again.

The President of Nigeria Muhammadu Buhari has said he will not talk about the release of Chibok schoolgirls again. Buhari said the only time he will talk about the issue is when genuine leaders of Boko Haram come forward to prove the girls are in their custody.

The president stated this in an interview with the Hausa Service of the Voice of America during his recent visit to the United States of America.

“You should not forget that Boko Haram has killed at least 20,000 Nigerians. Chibok girls are about 230 or 220. There are some people who are calling on the government to negotiate with the captors of these girls.

“I have addressed this issue three times, and I have no intention of doing anything again until they come out to identify themselves as leaders of Boko Haram, and that they are the ones holding these girls,” he said.

He further revealed that the only time the government will talk with the terrorist group is if they “give location of the girls and the condition of their health, which can also be verified. This is when negotiation can take place.

“It is not feasible where one person will come out today to say he can free three of them and tomorrow another person comes forward to say he will bring out five. It is 220 that we want to see. What is their condition? We can then agree to discuss and have the girls; reunite them with their families and have them back in school.”

Speaking about the army’s invasion of the Niger Delta region, the president said it is the militants that have the choice of whether to accept peace; else, the government will deal with them.

“The present circumstances completely differ with that of 1984. At that time, we rounded up all those suspected of plundering government’s money and took them to Kirikiri (prison), but now we have to carry out investigation and gather evidence to adduce before the court. This is what is delaying us.

“However, we have recovered a lot of money both in Naira and foreign currencies as well as buildings built with funds diverted from financing government projects,” he said.
