CDHR DISSOCIATES SELF FROM A PUBLICATION BY AN IMPOSTOR, CALLS THE ATTENTION OF POLICE AUTHORITY TO DISREGARD IT

 

 

 

 

The Committee for the Defence of Human Rights, CDHR dissociates self from a recent publication on one of the Nigerian national dailies, The Sun with the caption “CDHR sets agenda for Egbetokun, lauds his zero tolerance for crime, discipline” on 8th of November, 2023. The publication is not from the organisation and therefore members of the public and the police authority should disregard the fake publication.

 

 

 

 

 

Mr. Kehinde Taiga who paraded himself as the National President of the organisation is an impostor. He is not a member of CDHR. He has been expelled from the organisation since 2019. The true and authentic leaders of CDHR can be confirmed from Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), the Chairman and Secretary of CDHR Board of Trustees (BOT), Mr Femi Falana and Mr Debo Adeniran who also doubles as the incumbent National President of the Organisation.

CDHR uses this medium to call the attention of all the media houses: prints, visual, audio and online to reject publications and interviews from Mr. Kehinde Taiga. Any media house who aligned with him is doing so at their own risk and the organisation may institute a legal action for using its name for fake reports.

CDHR is , however, calls the attention of the Inspector General Police Mr. Egbetotun to investigate this fake report and cheap blackmail and prosecute Mr. Kehinde Taiga for misinforming the public.
