Christmas: A season to Rejoice, Reflect and Build more prosperous Ogun state

The celebration of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ is a significant moment in the life of every true believer in Christ. It is a season to reflect on where we are coming from, where we are at this point in time and where we actually want to be as a state.

Our dear state, Ogun state is a blessed with a lot of potentials, it is therefore important for us to harness those potentials- both human and materials- in order to build a more affluent and sustainable state.

Every opportunity we have the privilege to engage with the public, we tell the good people of Ogun State about our strong resolve to channel every God given resources of the state to greater good where everyone of us will not only benefit from good governance and its dividends, but also partake in the mission to “build our future together”.

However, while celebrating this Christmas, I urge us all to avoid wastage of resources. I also enjoin everyone to celebrate in love, compassion, modesty and also stretch out humanitarian hands to one another.

Let us not forget our dear state in all our supplications… A greater Ogun State is possible, and we must all join hands to build our dream future.

Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a prosperous new year in advance.

God bless you all
God bless Ogun state.
God bless Nigeria.

Prince Dr. Dapo Abiodun, MFR
APC Governorship Candidate, Ogun State.
