COVID ’19 EFFECTS: CHILDREN MORE ATTUNE WITH MOVIES THAN BOOKS

Children tend to forget that for everything that has a beginning, there must always be an end. To them, it looks vividly like the corona virus holiday forcefully imposed on them by the dreaded disease will never come to an end, hence their resolve in sticking to their parents’ television sets watching movies most especially the Telemundo series where they learn nothing but romance and deceits.

A visit to some homes by our correspondent reveals this present trend even as parents care less about the development. Rather than reading their books or tune in to educative platforms on TV, kids now have ample time watching movies that would coerce them to forget all they learn in school prior to the stay at home order. While some parents have taken it upon themselves to personally educate their children, others see feeding as the major priority during this harsh period of Covid ’19, but, who wouldn’t?
