Dangote Loses Half His Fortune

If the news making the rounds is anything to go by, then this is definitely not the best of times for richest man in Nigeria Aliko Dangote.

Financial magazine, Bloomberg says Nigeria’s richest man Aliko Dangote lost almost 50% of his $21billion net worth in the last 6 months following the drop in oil prices globally.

They also added that Dangote lost a whooping sum of $676 million just yesterday.

It appears that Dangote isn’t the only one whose fortune has taking a dive recently as the magazine also reported that the 10 richest people on earth all lost money yesterday, dropping a combined $6.2 billion.
