Dapo Abiodun receives certificates of endorsement

The governorship ambition of the governorship candidate of All Progressives Congress, APC in Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun has received yet another major boost as he was presented with certificates of endorsement by prominent groups in the State.

The presentation which was done during the campaign rally of the business mogul in Magboro area during his ward to ward campaign tour of Obafemi Owode Local Government area.

Leader of Dapo Abiodun supporters in Canada, Mr Gbenga Oni presented an award of Endorsement to the Iperu Prince and his Deputy, Engr. Mrs Noimot Salako- Oyedele.
Presenting the endorsement plaque, Mr Oni noted that the endorsement was based on several assessments done on all the candidates of various parties which revealed that only Dapo Abiodun’s candidacy stood out with his lofty plans for the State.
He explained that his group also took into consideration Abiodun’s pedigree as a serial entrepreneur.

He said, ‘Our incoming governor, I want to sincerely congratulate you on this rare feat. As a diaspora group, we took our time to assess all major candidates in this contest using several yardsticks ranging from manifestos, leadership, characters, pedigree, sincerity and lots more. You stand out among your contemporaries and that is why Ogun State indigenes residing in Canada deem it fit to maximally support you with all the resources at our disposal. We are doing this for the interest and progress of our dear state.

Also, Comrade Lawal Aliu Olugbenga who is the youth leader of Obafemi Owode Youths association presented a certificate of endorsement to the APC governorship candidate, Prince Dr Dapo Abiodun declaring him to be their sole candidate. He assured the guber hopeful of maximum supports from their local government during the poll.

He added, ‘Dapo Abiodun remained the most credible, competent and experienced among the contestants and we firmly believe that he would govern Ogun state better than other candidates jostling for the governorship seat in the forthcoming general election.

Responding, the governorship candidate, Prince Dapo Abiodun thanked President Muhammad Buhari, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, APC national working committee and other party leaders for their visit to Ogun state and official presentation of APC flag to him as the party’s governorship flag bearer in the state.

While assuring President Buhari that Ogun state will deliver massive votes for the APC during Saturday’s election and governorship election on 2nd of March, this year.

He appreciated the groups for their endorsement assuring them that he would reciprocate their gesture with good and impactful governance.
