As preparations for the 2018 bet9ja Nigeria National league gears up, Edo State Deputy Governor, His Excellency Comrade Philip Shaibu, on Monday paid a morale boosting visit to the team’s training ground in Iriri, Aruogba, Benin City.
Addressing the players, Comrade Philip Shaibu disclosed that the State Government is willing to give the team necessary support to excel in the forth coming season, hence the players should see themselves as one Family and cooperate to achieve success. He said they should always play according to their coaches instruction which is the bedrock of victories in football, noting that the State Government engaged a formidable technical crew comprising MondayOdigie, Baldwin Bazuaye and Greg Ikhanoba to improve the team quality of play, noting that Bendel Insurance football club is very dear to the State Government “we as a state, Insurance is very important to us, Government has created enabling environment for you
,the Governor has said any support we need to give, we will give to you.
Coach I want to appreciate you and I know by God’s grace together we will get there”.
On his part, the technical manager of Bendel Insurance Football Club,Monday Odigie thanked the Deputy Governor for creating time in spite of his busy schedule to see the team. “We want to deeply appreciate you for finding time to come and see us in spite of your tight schedule, we pray that with such effort God will help us at the end”.
Bendel Insurance is in group B2 of the 2018 bet9ja Nigeria National League and will do battle for supremacy between March to August with eight other teams, with the main goal of securing promotion to the Nigeria Professional Football league by the end of the season
