Debie Rise came into prominence after her exploit at Nigerian Idol Season 3. She was the last girl standing and the first runner-up. After then, she has released some songs among which is ‘ Winner’ under a record label ; 800 records.
However, it was gathered that she said she has terminated her contract with the record label which a lot of people believed but the management of the Label has come out to debunk the story in a press release:

This is to inform the public that the Artist known as “Debie Rise” (Miss. Olurise Deborah Ebunoluwa) is still signed to and under contract with 800 Records.
Please note that the Exclusive Recording and Management contract between us and Debie Rise has not been terminated or repudiated as falsely insinuated and same is valid and subsists until 2019!
TAKE NOTICE that any party contracting with Debie Rise as a recording or performing artist and/or in respect of sales of any of her songs or anything to do with entertainment, without our prior consent/authorization would be doing so at its/his/her peril and we shall not hesitate to bring the full wrath of the law to bear on such individual and/or organization; including suing them for aiding and inducing breach of contract and account for profit.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Few days ago, a music upstart, Debie Rise released a statement to the media that she has dumped her record label, 800 Records without regards for an existing contract.
It is on record that Debie Rise enjoyed major media spotlight and monthly pay after she was signed to 800 Records and presented to members of the media at an elaborate event in late 2014. Her songs enjoyed heavy radio rotation which cost heavy budget.
Her pulling out of the contract with press release is not only disrespectful and disregarding to existing law bidding the contract, she is setting precedent i
