Today Sunday, 5th Of June, 2022 makes it exactly one year since the highly respected prophet went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ and in a way to make it memorable, the disciples decided to replicate one of the unique things about the prophet’s ministry which is giving massively to the needy.

The disciples thronged Magboro community area of Ogun state to be with the needy; the deaf, blind, lame, widows, among a host of many others to spend time with them and most importantly, to bless them with their material needs.

Prophetess Yinka, a disciple of the great prophet, made it clear that Prophet TB Joshua is in their midst spiritually.

‘’Today marks one year remembrance of him and we know he is in our midst to the glory of God, he is in our midst spiritually and we open the day in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. He may be absent in the body but we know spiritually he is in our midst.’’

Also, Prophetess Ann, one of the disciples appreciated the community for accepting them while mentioning that they are only sharing the love Prophet TB Joshua impacted them with into the lives of the needy.

‘’We thank everyone joining us in this commemorative service and charity act of giving today in remembrance of our father in the Lord, Prophet TB Joshua has trained us in this manner and we are here to share that same love he has impacted in us into the lives of the people here today. By the mercy and the grace of God, we are going to join our friends to share the love, the peace, the joy we have in remembering our father in the Lord, Prophet TB Joshua.’’

According to one of the disciples, Folake who also addressed the needy in the community, she noted that they could not think of any other person to celebrate the first anniversary of the prophet’s passing to glory with than the needy, as the man of God rightly taught them to love the needy.

She noted that though Prophet TB Joshua isn’t with them physically, he has never for once left them, for he is still with them spiritually.

She explained that the disciples brought food materials and gifts for them as Prophet TB Joshua taught that every man who loves God is under the obligation to love his fellow man.

‘’We the disciples of Prophet TB Joshua have come here to celebrate the life of Prophet TB Joshua who is very dear to us. We cannot think of any other person to celebrate today with than our friends as we know Prophet TB Joshua holds them; the needy, deaf, blind, lame, widows, dear to his heart.’’

“One of the many things Prophet TB Joshua’s ministry is synonymous with is giving, and that’s why we his disciples are following his footsteps, this path of love to meet with our friends and give.’’

“Prophet TB Joshua has taught us that God loves the stranger, widow, orphan, and man, if he truly loves God, is under obligation to love his fellow man. That’s why we are here.

To a great father, mentor, teacher, we say to you daddy Prophet TB Joshua, “We love you. Thank you for being there for us. Daddy, we celebrate your life, we celebrate your exemplary journey on earth, we celebrate your divine nature – a partaker of the inheritance of the saints’’
