Dog Breeders and Lovers Association distributes facial mask to Ikorodu residents

In a bid to support efforts of the government to curtail the spread of COVID-19 pandemic, Ikorodu Dog Breeders and Lovers Association distributed facial mask to its residents.
Addressing the media in Ikorodu, before the commencement of the walk,Towobola Azeez the president of the association, said they had organised dog walk within the environs on every 3rd Saturday of the month before the lock down.
“But immediately the out break of the pandemic, we decided to put the walk on hold to abide by the rules and order of social distancing.
“We the dog breeders and lovers in ikorodu decided on our own little way to give back to the society by sensitising the public and as well share facial mask to the residents”.
He noted that its important to enlighten the public about the need to stay safe and make sure they follow the safety protocols in maintaining social distance, washing of hands regularly and also use face mask while in public places.
Our correspondent reports that the walk kicke off from opposite Domino pizza along Ebute road, towards Dangote round about along Ebute, Ikorodu Lagos.
Also speaking, the Public Relations Officer of the association, Adeniran adetola (aka) Mr DAT, advised residents to always put on facemasks, keep social distance, wash their hands and use hand sensitizers.
According to him, `Covid -19 epidemic is a global issue and the virus is real so we need to stay safe, as doing this will help eradicate the ravaging pandemic in the country.
