Donations from TY Buratai Foundation will remove burden of buying school items — Community Secretary
Emotions ran high as indigent Guardians of orphans in Afaka Community, Igabi Local Government, Kaduna State, watched as Ty Buratai Humanity Care Foundation doled out items to their children.
Ty Buratai Humanity Care Foundation, a non-governmental organisation, NGO, as part of efforts to support the less privilege dole out Bags and Exercise Books.
Community Secretary Tasiu Musa who spoke to Journalist during the presentation at Sarkin Afaka Palace in Mando said that they will no longer worry about buying school materials for their wards, as the TY Buratai Humanity Care Foundation and bodies had provided all they needed.
Tasiu musa added more donations are coming from various parastatals and Individuals.
The materials will be distributed strictly to less privilege orphans after we finish collection from other bodies, community secretary said.
For Comr Ismail Yahaya Garkuwan Afaka Community Stakeholder, said Afaka community orphans children will now go to school like real pupils.
His words: “ we appreciate Ty Buratai Humanity Care Foundation. I feel very happy. It will reduce cost of buying school materials for children Guardians. Buratai Foundation gave our community children school bags and exercise books. Let everyone do like them, and life will be good,” he said.
On his part, The Sarkin Afaka Sani Musa Umar, said: “These gifts will reduce the stress of buying school materials, as the traditional leader of Afaka I thank the foundation for this noble gesture this is not the first time the Ty Buratai foundation has support the people of this community, sometimes last month this same foundation has support the less privilege with palliatives that reduce burden of many in this hard time,” he said.
The mission of the TY Buratai Humanity Care Foundation, according to its chairman, Ibrahim Dahiru Danfulani, Sadaukin Garkuwan Keffi, is to provide education and support for those who are less fortunate while also giving them a sense of belonging.
“Today, we have been able to positively affect over 100 of orphans children,” he noted.
