Education will be free from primary to secondary level’ — PRP Governorship candidate, Cyrus Johnson assures People of Ogun

 

The governorship candidate of People’s Redemption Party, PRP Cyrus Oluwaseun Johnson (Akinfenwa) has assured the people of Ogun state of free education from primary to secondary level if elected to office in the forthcoming election.

 

 

 

 

The People’s Redemption Party is a *social democratic political* party in Nigeria., The Second Republic reincarnation of the Northern Elements Progressive Union and the Fourth Republican reincarnation of a similar namesake, the party was created by the supporters of Mallam Aminu Kano after his withdrawal from the National Party of Nigeria.

 

 

 

 

Cyrus Johnson (Akinfenwa), declared this during his unveiling and his deputy, Mrs Doyin Yetunde Bello (Odunukan) by the Chairman of the party in Ogun state, Samson Okusanya in Abeokuta city in the presence of all the ward chairmen in the state.

 

 

 

 

 

Okusanya, revealed to our correspondent that there has been no time People’s Redemption Party has merged with any party across the country, he said any party who is ready to work with the party would be welcome to merge with PRP.

Cyrus and his deputy was handed over the Party flag by the state chairman, Hon Samson Okusanya to commence campaign for victory in the forthcoming polls.

Also, he said Cyrus Oluwaseun Johnson emerged as the Governorship Candidate of People’s Redemption Party alongside his deputy Mrs Doyin Yetunde Bello after the primary election was conducted in September, 2022 in the presence of Independence National Electoral Commission, INEC representatives.

Cyrus Johnson, when asked about how he will do differently from the present government of Ogun State, he said his government shall priotise education and food security, security, human capital development among others through the party policy which is putting interest of the people first.

“Our administration shall always put the people first according to our party policy, sectors like education, security, employment, human capital development, agriculture, infrastructure development shall be priotize, we are going to make sure our people are not hungry, because an hungry man is an angry man…… We shall win the election by the grace of God and your support.” — He said.
However, he assured the people of Ogun of better tomorrow if they can support and trust their votes with People’s Redemption Party in the 2023 General election.
