Nigeria’s leading facility management company, Eliezer Group has called on Lagosians to imbibe the culture of public utilities’ management. Speaking at a recent press parley held at the prestigious Lagos Travel Inn, Ikeja, the Chief Operating Officer of Eliezer Group, David korede expressed the need for Nigerians to be passionate about public facilities, stressing that the people should have a change of mind in the area of maintenance culture. He went further by narrating on how the Lagos State government just acquired the National Stadium which was constructed in the 70s but finally neglected since year 2002 or thereabout. korede, while commending the effort of the Lagos State government towards the acquisition, urged members of the public to desist from destructive acts that could jeopardize the sterling move of the governor Akinwunmi Ambode-led administration. Akorede also emphasized on the fact that his company would corporate and work in partnership with the Lagos State government towards sensitizing the people on how to utilize this facility. The stadium, meant for sporting activities cum games village was neglected by the federal governments due to some unforeseen circumstances paving the ways for religious activities therein. In her own words, company’s spokesperson Tope Mandy spoke on the vision of Eliezer group’s wish is to take facility management to another level in Nigeria. The company hopes Lagosians should learn the habit of promoting infrastructures management. It calls on Lagosians to take government properties as their own. With the population of Lagos State projected to be 20 million, Eliezer group would be working with active youths who are totaled 7.6 million. Inachieving this feat, Eliezer would be working with state government’s parastatals and agencies.
