ELITE-OKE LANTORO ROAD READY FOR ASPHALTING, AS OGUN RESIDENTS REVEL IN MASS ROAD REFORM

The Executive Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun has said this is “a season of project completion” in the State. In a short message on the Governor’s social media handles, he disclosed that the 2.5km Elite-Oke Lantoro Road, which is being reconstructed, would soon be asphalted.
Governor Abiodun had earlier in his usual manner of ensuring transparency in project execution and management, provided similar project reports on the Owode-Ilaro, Lafenwa-Rounda, Panseke-Adigbe, Sagamu-Abeokuta, Atan-Erunwon roads amongst others.
The Governor revealed that the Elite-Oke Lantoro Road, which is an alternative route, comes with walkways and protected drainage and will ease the traffic congestion the Iyana Mortuary Bridge has become notorious for.
He added that improved accessibility to host communities would be the people’s lot, once the road work is delivered.
