The president of Crime Reporters Association of Nigeria (CRAN) Mr Sunday Odita has advised other Police Officers to emulate the former Divisional Police Officer (DPO) transferred to Abuja as the Public Relations Officer in-charge Police Trust Fund unit.

“We, the CRAN have been following her right from when she was at Delta state, PRO at Oyo state, worked as crime officer in Lagos before becoming the DPO in Lagos’’.
“Even during the EndSars protest within her command stations, other police posts were affected but her station was spared.
“She mixed up with her community, carried members of the community as one, she never saw anyone as a civilian or create a barrier among the populace’’.
Odita urged other police officers to form a cordial relationship with civilians and see them as one and also relate well with them to get good information that can assist them in carrying out their duties perfectly.
“Seeing a member of the public as your enemy will make them to never trust you, CSP Okuwobi is not like that,’’ he added.

“I have not found an officer who is as free with everyone around her as my spiritual daughter. If others can be like her, especially the female police officers, the civilians will not have problems with the police.
In her address, CSP Okuwobi expressed appreciation to her police officers who made the job simple, and the entire Ejigbo community for their support and show of love.
CSP Olabisi Okuwobi who was enlisted into Nigeria Police Force as a Cadet in 2002 after her one year mandatory National Youth Service, has served meritoriously in various capacities at different units and departments locally and internationally.
