Emzor Pharmaceutical Industries Holds 19th Annual Thanksgiving

Emzor Pharmaceutical Industries Limited, a beacon of excellence in the Nigerian pharmaceutical landscape, marked its 19th annual Thanksgiving service on the 15th of December 2023 at the prestigious Landmark Event Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The theme for this year’s event was “Thanksgiving: Our Joyful Lifestyle,” encapsulating the spirit of gratitude and celebration that permeated the entire evening. The Landmark Event Centre was transformed into a haven of elegance, adorned with a touch of sophistication that set the stage for an unforgettable night. Distinguished guests graced the occasion, each contributing to the vibrant and charming atmosphere with their flair and colourful presence. ‘

The Chairman of the Occasion, Engr. Dr. Ernest Ndukwe, Former Executive Vice President/CEO of NCC, opened the ceremony with a warm welcome address, acknowledging the remarkable growth that Emzor has experienced over the years. In his address, he also offered valuable advice to the Federal Government, urging them to take necessary steps to support and encourage local industries in Nigeria. The highlight of the evening was the heartfelt expression of gratitude by Dr. Stella Okoli, the Group Managing Director and CEO of Emzor Pharmaceutical.

She attributed the success of the company to the unwavering support of God and all those who have stood by Emzor throughout its journey. Dr Okoli expressed deep appreciation to the patrons who have consistently supported the company, making it possible for Emzor to celebrate its 19th year of Thanksgiving. Her Excellency, Dr Mrs Claudiana Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, the Chief Hostess and wife of the Lagos State Governor, emphasized the importance of thanksgiving in accessing the presence of God.

She highlighted the need for a heart filled with gratitude and praise, noting that this spirit of thanksgiving is a secret to a joyful and fulfilling life. Chief Mrs. Bola Obasanjo, GCFR, the wife of the former Nigerian President, and former Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment, Pastor Okuku Enama, added their voices to the call for gratitude.

They emphasized the significance of acknowledging God’s grace and the wonders that unfold for those who seek them. The event reached its pinnacle with the ceremonial cutting of the Thanksgiving Dinner cake, followed by the presentation of long service awards and recognition. The Chairman of the Board of Directors, in his parting shot, affirmed Emzor’s commitment to quality, expressing the company’s dedication to putting quality first and affordability next.

Notable personalities in attendance included Chief Mrs Bola Obasanjo GCFR, the Chief Guest of Honour; Her Excellency Dr. Mrs. Claudiana Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, Chief Hostess; and Engr. Dr. Ernest Ndukwe, the Chairman of the Occasion. As the event concluded, Emzor Pharmaceutical Industries stands poised to continue its legacy of providing unlimited wellness in Nigeria and beyond, with the recent inauguration of its ultramodern compliant pharmaceutical factory in Shagamu, Ogun State. The evening was a testament to Emzor’s unwavering commitment to excellence and its role as a pioneer in the Nigerian pharmaceutical industry.
