An APC chieftain and the Chairman National Advisory Council of APC-USA, Judge Dele Alade has advised the President-Elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to robustly engage credible APC members in the Diaspora in his administration. Speaking at the APC-CANADA Congress in Brampton Ontario, Canada, Judge Alade said that there are abundant talents and experts amongst the members of APC-Canada, APC-USA and APC members in the Diaspora that can be tapped and employed for the rapid development of Nigeria.

Judge Alade, who was the Guest Speaker at the Congress, thanked the members of APC-CANADA for their sacrifice and support for the party and the APC presidential ticket of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Kashim Shettima. He said that many APC members in the Diaspora including APC-Canada members, went back to Nigeria to mobilize and vote for the APC presidential ticket. Judge Alade said that he is hopeful that the Asiwaju Tinubu administration will reward APC members in the Diaspora and involve them in his administration. Judge Alade said that until the Nigerians in the Diaspora are massively employed in various and critical sectors of the Nigerian economy, the development that we all yearn for will continue to elude the country. Judge Alade made references to some countries where their leaders successfully took deliberate and concrete actions to actively involve their diaspora citizens to develop their countries. He urged APC-CANADA members not to relent in their efforts in participating in Nigerian politics, and to see a developed and prosperous Nigeria.

Judge Alade recognized the abundant talents and expertise of members of the APC Canada Chapter and that such talents and expertise are abound in all other APC Diaspora chapters. Judge Alade charged the members of APC-CANADA to continue to support the party and the APC administration. He advised the President-Elect not to appoint corrupt people in his government. He said that the President-Elect should look for individuals with high moral character, who are not corrupt, and who will selflessly serve the country. He said that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu should not appoint individuals who have had the opportunity to serve but failed in their previous assignments. He said that Asiwaju should thoroughly investigate and vet individuals before appointing them to positions in his government. He said that Nigeria has suffered enough in the hands of incompetent, corrupt and recycled public officials, and that it is time to engage the best qualified people among us in public service.

Judge Alade called for the restructuring of the country to ensure unity, peace, stability and progress. He urged Nigerians to actively participate in the affairs of the country and hold the leaders accountable for their actions.
