Dr. Adeola Odedina, former Ogun State Commissioner of Agriculture, who also served as the provost of the Federal College of Agriculture in Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria and Former Rector Moshood Abiola Polytechnic Abeokuta Ogun State, Nigeria expressed heartfelt condolences to the people and government of Ondo State following the demise of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.
The Former Commissioner disclosed this in a statement issued to newsmen on Thursday.
Akeredolu died on Wednesday morning at the age of 67. The governor passed on following a protracted illness.
Odedina reminisced about their collaborative efforts, highlighting their shared vision for agricultural development and the active involvement of youths in agriculture across Ondo State, Southwestern Nigeria, and the entire nation.
In his life governor Akeredolu at every public and private event, extol the dedication and passion of Dr Odedina for leadership in agricultural development.
The former commissioner extended his prayers to God, seeking strength and support for the family that Governor Akeredolu left behind.
