Excerpts Below:
Q- My Name is Osho Oluwatosin From SaharaWeekly, Can I Meet you?
R- My name is Chizoba Daniel aka Sunkey.
Q- We heard about your new single, KONFAM, which has been making waves around the world, what inspired it?
R- KONFAM is just a freestyle session I had with my very friend and producer Syn-x. It was inspired by my decision to think and confess positive things about me and all that I do. I figured I would want to share it with someone special, hence my talking to a girl and saying how I’ll be there for her to do anything she likes and so on….
Q – Would we be right to say one of the strong inspiration and target of the songs was for a girl, maybe your Girlfriend’?
R – Maybe
Q- You just released the video some weeks back, and we heard you were sanctioned over it, due to some scenes in it, how do u feel about this?
R – I feel indifferent because I’m an artist. Which means that I’m just painting pictures for my audience. If I was an actor and that was a scene in the movie, I don’t think I would be judged by people that much. What’s the difference? That’s by the way. I just am indifferent about it because I know that video doesn’t define me. I know who I am and that alone counts.
Q – That is to say it is pure injustice, right?
R – Justice. Does man even know what justice is? We were taught most of the “good” things we know. They did what was right by them and I clearly understand and hold nothing against them. They are my people and I love them all the same.
Q – How about your choir members and friends, how did they react to this and have they stood by you since it happened?
R- My friends have been very supportive and have stood by me Maybe because they know who I truly am.
