Details of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by the governorship candidate of the Allied People’s Movement (APM) Hon. Adekunle Akinlade and Hon. Ladi Adebutu of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun State surfaced online.
Akinlade, who lost the APC ticket to current governor of Ogun state, Prince Dapo Abiodun, had gotten the Deputy governorship ticket under Democratic party (PDP).

Akinlade was the annointed candidate of Governor Ibikunle Amosun who worked against his own party’s candidate, Dapo Abiodun in 2019 general elections.
Hon. Ladi Adebutu ageed to concede several appointmets to the Akinlade camp, if he becomes governor.

Verbal agreement on contract kickbacks and IGR percentage.
According to an inside source, there are also agreements on 15% kickback on every contract sum awarded where 10% goes to the Adebutu’s PDP bloc and 5% to Akinlade’s APM bloc.
Furthermore, there is an agreement on a certain percentage of the state’s IGR via a revenue consultant to be appointed by Ladi Adebutu. A sum of N1bn will go to Adebutu’s PDP bloc while N500m will go to Akinlade’s APM bloc monthly!
